John Townsend

Back in July, John Townsend, a Christian psychologist was doing a talk entitled, "Men & Women, What They Really Want- It's just Not That Complicated."  Neither my husband or I actually went to the workshop, I had another workshop I had already signed up for, and my husband wasn't interested in going.   As I was cleaning up my summer notes area near the calender, getting ready for fall, I found the handout.  I wish we'd been able to go the workshop as one thing I do believe is that relationships and partnerships take work.

icupid- it worked for a neighbor's daughter!

I went to neighborhood BBQ today and talked to a neighbor's grown daughter and new boyfriend.  They met on icupid (which I'd never even heard of until today).  They seem really compatible and are even moving in together soon!  They are such nice people, I'm so happy they found each other!

Rockridge Out & About Festival, October 7, 2012

The  Rockridge Out and About Festival is Sunday, October 7, 2012.  This is festival showcasing the local businesses in the area and is perfect for self proclaimed foodies!   College Avenue between Alcatraz and Manila will be closed off, so it will be a fun picnic in the street with some music, dancing and shopping thrown in.  Some of the best organic strawberries I've ever had were purchased recently at Market Hall.  Also, the Nicasio Valley organic Foggy Morning (with basil and garlic) is the yummiest cheese ever, and I got that at Market Hall too!
