Weddings at the Discovery Center, Indian Springs Park

The Discovery Center is gorgeous with high wood ceilings and plenty of windows with views of a pond.  It is a gorgeous building.  Besides being a wonderful place for a wedding and reception, it is also a sweet place to walk around the pond and take hikes.

The Chocolate Garden, Coloma, Michigan- handmade truffles

We stopped by the Chocolate Garden on the way to New Buffalo, Michigan.  They speicalize in handmade truffles, and even have a truffle tasting bar!  Since I love chocolate, I really enjoyed the truffle tasting experience.  It was also fun to see my son taste the three different truffles, and decide which one he liked best.  His favorite was the salted dark chocolate.  My husband like the hazelnut milk chocolate. I liked the dark chocolate truffle.   I also got the drinking chocolate which doesn't have any dairy, it is just rich, chocolate goodness!  The place is in the middle of rolling countryside and it is nestled in fruit orchards.

Terrace Room Restourant, New Buffalo, Michigan

The Terrace Room Restaurant at the Harbor Grand Hotel in Buffalo, Michigan has excellent food and a wonderful ambiance.  Stacey, Chris, and Arie from the restaurant were all wonderful and treated us like true guests by giving us excellent service and telling us about the area.  Stacey even made towers with my son with creamers, which he loved!   My son had the spaghetti and meatballs which were surprisingly delicious!  The service was amazing, I will be back.  Our room at the hotel had views of the harbor, and we were able to walk to the beach at Lake Michigan.

The Harbor Grand, a waterfront inn, also provides a continental breakfast in the morning with boiled eggs, muffins, and coffee.

Namaste Yoga mini membership for $49.00 a month for two classes in Rockridge district of Oakland,CA

I just discovered that Namaste Yoga on College Avenue in the Rockridge district of Oakland, CA is having a special of $49.00  for 4 yoga classes a month.  There are also two other locations in Berkeley and the Grand Lake area of Oakland.  I love hanging out in Rockridge and it feels safe after work to walk around.  Also, there are places afterwards to meet friends for dinner, a drink, dessert, or a cup of tea.  There are even two great local bookstores within walking distance from Namaste Yoga.  I did a baby and me class with my son there when he was only a few months old.  I want to start going there again, this may just be a perfect time!
